In the course of a engagement to a cathedral in Staffordshire on Monday, King Charles was confronted by a individual who questioned him about his brother's links with disgraced financier Epstein.

The man asked how long the monarch had been known about his sibling's relationship with Epstein, and also questioned whether he had instructed the police to "hide" for Andrew.

Despite the heckling, there were large groups of well-wishers and cheers for the King, who was in Staffordshire for an event.

Prince Andrew's links with Jeffrey Epstein have been under intense scrutiny in recent weeks. The prince, who gave up his royal duties earlier this month, has categorically denied any misconduct.

Controversy Reignited by Memoir

The scandal over the Duke of York's links to Epstein has been reignited by misconduct allegations repeated in Ms. Giuffre's recently released book.

In the memoir, the accuser claims she had sex with the royal on three separate occasions, including once with Epstein and "eight other young girls"

Prince Andrew, who reached a out-of-court agreement with Ms Giuffre in recent years, has repeatedly denied any misconduct. In a previous interview, he told BBC Newsnight he did not remember meeting Ms Giuffre "ever", and that they "did not have any sort of sexual contact."

Fresh Questions About Finances and Housing

But in recent times, new inquiries have been asked about how he is able to fund his way of life despite not being a active member of the royal family.

The disclosure that he has only ever paid a nominal fee on his Windsor mansion has intensified the examination over his housing situation - even though he made large payments initially, including for improvements.

The political party said he should be called in front of members of parliament to give testimony about his lease of his lodge.

But last Thursday, the authorities refused to give MPs time to debate the royal's status or his residence, despite increasing calls for scrutiny.

Buckingham Palace has not commented on whether Prince Andrew might relocate of his current residence - or where he might reside.
