Amazing $30 Cartography Software Bundle Represents a Virtual Tabletop GM's Dream
Following a short availability back in April, the Map Making Mega Bundle is back with an encore that lasts through early December. Described as an extensive collection of mapping tools developed by ProFantasy Software throughout their history, the complete package carries a value of over $1,300. And there are three different bundles offered in this deal.
The Main Attraction
The standout feature is definitely a lifetime license to the CC3+ software, a professional-grade cartography program that can be used to create everything from fantasy overworld maps, detailed regional charts, city maps, and, perhaps most importantly, dungeon and tabletop battle maps.
An imaginative landscape chart generated in Campaign Cartographer 3+.
Bundle Tiers
Basic Package
The cheapest bundle tier, at a minimum cost of $1, features merely four from the thirty-nine available products: Symbol Set 1: Fantasy Overland, Monster Token Pack 1, Castle Source Maps, Urban Source Maps. This package suits cartographers who already have CC3+, yet it provides new fantasy symbol styles for overworld maps, more than 750 monster tokens for use in virtual tabletops, more than two dozen aerial castle designs with 470 associated map tokens, eight complete urban centers, plus seventy-plus building interiors.
Intermediate Package
The eight-product collection starting at fifteen dollars is where things get more interesting by adding in a lifetime CC3+ license, Cartographer's Annual Vol 1, Ultimate Mapping Guidebook, Isometric Cities Symbol Pack. The Annual represents the yearly bundle from the company's ongoing subscription program which includes multiple CC3+ enhancements including map packs and additional utilities. Isometric Cities lets you present urban areas in 3D perspective using angled views from multiple angles. Meanwhile, the Mapping Tome is a 760-page for beginners and "power users" alike, full of tips and tutorials covering cartography techniques.
Complete Collection
For a minimum of $30, the 39-item bundle contains these components:
- Advanced Terrain Generator
- Dungeon Designer 3
- City Designer 3
- Cosmographer 3
- Perspectives 3
- Scene Builder

Every volume from the Annual series come with this bundle, alongside a slew of additional tools and content that can help users design entire planets or galaxies, or focus exclusively on traditional fantasy world-building: combat arenas, dungeons, cities, and land masses in multiple viewpoints. Users can also create character portraits. At thirty versus fifteen dollars, the complete collection is so worth it, particularly for mappers who have only the annual CC3+ license and want to upgrade to lifetime. However, it's clearly more advantageous for map-making newbies considering you even get introductory guides to help you get started. The sole limitation is that while the purchase is available on any platform, the software is only usable on Windows.
Charitable Component
As with other Humble Bundles, a portion of each sale supports charitable organizations. For this one, that's Save the Children, established in 1919 by Eglantyne Jebb dedicated to enhancing children's welfare globally through education, health care, and emergency relief. Package customization options appear near the page top, though users may also choose their donation amount on the right side of the page. Additionally available is an donation allocation menu just below that, allowing you to adjust the distribution percentage allocated between the platform, developer, and charity.
